Happy Sunday everyone!! I don’t know about you guys, but this weekend flew by for me! Friday night I came back to Milwaukee to visit my family, and I can’t believe I have to go back to Madison already. My brother picked me up from my apartment after work on Friday and we drove home together. I hadn’t been back home since Labor Day, hard to believe! So I was just dying to see my family!
After getting home we spent the whole night talking and hanging out in the kitchen. My mom had made cookies and we all just enjoyed each other’s company.
Saturday I had originally wanted to sleep in and spend the morning relaxing, but since graduating college and starting a real job I just can’t seem to sleep in past 8! So, I woke up got dressed and spent the whole day shopping with my mom and sister! It was so fun, except for the fact that every store we went to was so crowded! I couldn’t believe how many people were out.
Our favorite part of the day was going to the newest restaurant in Brookfield, Goddess and the Baker. It is SOOO CUTE inside and such a perfect Instagram spot! We had a slice of the Rainbow cake and OH MY GOSH it was amazing! I can’t even describe the taste, you just have to try it for yourself! Honestly, everything in the entire restaurant was so cute, from the bakery items to the decor. I highly recommend going here!
Later that night, my dad and I went to the theater to see Halloween. Like I mentioned in my previous post, my dad and I have watched all the Halloween movies together so we were excited to see this one! Unfortunately, it was kind of a let down and wasn’t as good as we were expecting it to be. I still had fun spending time with my dad and getting to see it, but some parts I wish they would’ve done differently.
As for today, I’ve been spending more quality time with my siblings, playing Wii and a few board games (our family loves games!), cleaning, and packing my stuff to head back to Madison. It’s been a lazy day and I love it!
When I get back to Madison I’m planning to unpack, make my lunch for tomorrow, and watch the Packer game before going to sleep!
I hope you had a relaxing weekend because Thanksgiving is less than three weeks away! Then all the holiday craziness begins! I’m looking forward to decorating and getting to spend more time with my family! I’ll be starting my holiday blogs soon so make sure to watch out for those!
Have a great week!
XO
