I put this recipe together the other weekend for my Healthy Meals Club. I don’t think I’ve talked about this too much on the blog, but each month, my two sisters, mom and I get together and make a healthy meal. One person is in charge of the entree, another person has the appetizer, one person has a dessert and then someone else has the drink.
We’ve all been wanting to eat healthier, so the whole goal of the club is to share easy recipes that we can re-create at home. It’s been so fun and I’ve learned so many new recipes! This healthy frozen yogurt bark was my contribution for our brunch last Sunday, and it was such a hit!
Why You’ll Love This Frozen Yogurt Bark
There are so many reasons to love this yummy frozen yogurt bark recipe. Number one, it’s so quick and easy to prepare. It probably took me about 10 minutes to prep everything. The longest part is just waiting for it to freeze! And, if you’re someone who has a sweet tooth who always craves a little dessert throughout the day (I know I do), this frozen bark is a great alternative to ice cream.
- Simple and quick to make – takes about 10 minutes to prep
- Naturally sweetened with honey
- Packed with protein and gut-friendly probiotics
- Loaded with antioxidants from fresh berries
- Customizable with all your favorite toppings
- Healthy alternative to ice cream!

Here’s the Ingredients You’ll Need
- Vanilla Greek yogurt
- Sliced Strawberries
- Handful of Blueberries
- A Little Honey
- Melted Dark chocolate chips
I love how simple this yogurt bark recipe is! These were the ingredients I used, but you can really use whatever yogurt and fruits you have on hand. For this recipe, I used 3 cups of the Light + Fit Vanilla Greek yogurt. I love the taste and it’s packed with 12 grams of protein. I sliced three large strawberries and that was sufficient for the entire yogurt spread!
How to Make Frozen Yogurt Bark
- Mix Greek yogurt with some honey in a medium bowl and then spread the yogurt mixture evenly onto a silicone baking mat or some parchment paper
- Top with sliced strawberries and blueberries (add as many as you like!)
- Melt dark chocolate chips and drizzle over the top
- Drizzle some extra honey over the top too!
- Freeze for about 4 hours
- Break into pieces and enjoy!
- Store in the freezer when not eating (it melts pretty quickly at room temperature)!
Flavor Variations & Substitutions
For this recipe, the flavor variations are endless! Whether you want to keep it light and healthy or turn the yogurt bark into more of a dessert, here are a few other ways you can enjoy this healthy dessert!
- Drizzle peanut butter or almond butter over the yogurt spread for added protein
- Swap the honey for some maple syrup for a different flavor twist
- Add a sprinkle of sea salt over the top for a sweet & salty combo
- Top with other fresh fruit like raspberries, bananas, mango, or kiwi
- Drizzle with white chocolate chips
- Add seasonal sprinkles over the top to match holidays or special occasions
- Add your favorite granola for more texture and extra crunch
- Layer the base of the sheet pan with graham crackers for a cookie-like texture

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use regular plain yogurt instead of Greek yogurt?
Yep! You can use whatever yogurt you prefer. I like to use Greek yogurt because it’s thicker, creamier, higher in protein and typically contains less added sugar than regular yogurt. But, if you only have regular yogurt on hand, you can definitely use that instead.
How should I store the yogurt bark?
It’s best to store it in a freezer-safe airtight container.
How long does it last in the freezer?
It should last 1-2 months if stored properly! It’s so yummy though, you’ll probably eat all of it within a week.
What are some of the health benefits?
Protein & probiotics from the Greek yogurt, antioxidants & vitamins from the fresh strawberries & blueberries, healthy fats & polyphenols from the melted dark chocolate, and it’s low in sugar (if using plain Greek Yogurt).
Can I make it dairy-free?
Definitely! Just use coconut yogurt instead!

I hope you enjoyed this easy and refreshing cool treat! It’s the perfect way to cool off during the warm Spring and Summer months ahead. And if you’re already thinking ahead, the red and blue from the berries would make this a festive Fourth of July party snack! I immediately thought that as soon as I topped the bark with strawberries and blueberries.
Thanks for reading and be sure to save this Greek yogurt bark recipe for later and let me know if you try it. I’d love to hear what toppings you add!
