Where to Shop for the Perfect Blue Bridesmaids Dress
The collection of blue bridesmaid dresses above are from Dessy, Lulus, Petal and Pup, Birdy Grey, ASTR The Label and AW Bridal. I’ve found that these retailers have the best selection, quality and color options when it comes to bridesmaids dresses.
Dessy is actually the brand that my bridal party ordered their dresses from! Although, instead of blue I chose Orchid Pink as the dress color! I had my girls choose any dress in that color range. Under $100 Light Blue Satin Plisse Strapless Maxi Dress
SHOP THIS BLUE SATIN MAXI DRESS
I was actually shocked that this satin dress is under $100. It’s absolutely gorgeous and fits perfectly! And is this not the most perfect shade of blue!? I don’t own anything else in this color.
I originally got this as a Summer wedding guest dress, but it would totally work as a bridesmaids dress too. The satin plisse material is amazing – thick and great quality. I own a very similar black strapless maxi dress in this same material and wore it to a wedding last Fall. Trust me, you’ll love it!
The dress is strapless, but has silicone lining around the top so it stays in place and won’t move around on you. It fits true to size, has a high slit on the side, but I like that it’s kind of hidden, you can’t really tell there’s a slit, and it’s also a great length. I’m about 5’6″ and with a pair of 2.5″ heels the dress just grazes the floor. No alterations needed!
