Easy & Creative Gingerbread House Ideas & Inspiration
Every December, my mom hosts an annual Gingerbread House making competition for our family. It’s one of my favorite Christmas traditions and every year the houses get more and more elaborate. I love seeing the ideas that everyone comes up with.
If you’re looking for inspiration for your own gingerbread house, I’m going to share the houses we created this year! For our competition, we use graham crackers instead of a traditional gingerbread house kit. It definitely makes it more challenging, but it gives you complete creative freedom to make whatever idea you want!

Pictures truly don’t do these Gingerbread designs justice, so if you want to see videos of each one, you can check out my Tik Tok here!

Kwik Trip Gingerbread House

If you’re from the Midwest, you’ve probably heard of Kwik Trip. My dad and I thought it would be fun to create a mini gas station for our gingerbread house. This wasn’t too hard to put together and it was the winning gingerbread house!
Wizard of Oz Gingerbread House

My sister and her boyfriend put together the Wizard of Oz. I loved the yellow brick road and Emerald City!
Stranger Things Gingerbread House

If you’ve seen Stranger Things, this Gingerbread house will make sense to you! The design and detail to this house is incredible.
