Hello and Happy Sunday! I have had such a busy couple of weeks. Work has been crazy! Spring through the beginning of summer is our busy time and since this is my first spring being in my position, there’s a lot of learning going on. When I get home from work, all I want to do is relax and just take some time to unwind, so if you were wondering why I haven’t been able to get as many blog posts up as usual, that’s why! I’m hoping things will slow down a bit over the next couple months and I can get back to weekly blog posts, but I’ll keep you updated on how life outside the blog is going. Thank you for understanding and being patient with me 🙂
Anywayy! Today I wanted to show you all of the cute spring clothes that are out right now, because oh my gosh there are SO MANY! I honestly think the spring clothes this year are some of the best. I really love all the trends right now and I think they work for every single body type. The mom jeans, the paper bag waist pants and shorts, the midi dresses and skirts, the bodysuits, everything.. They all fit the body really well. And I think they look so flattering on.
I have divided up all the clothing categories in this post by dresses/rompers, tops/tanks, shorts/skirts, swimwear, shoes and sunscreen (can’t forget about that)! I’ve really worked hard to show you the best items of spring this year all within budget. I’m still trying to pay down all my debt, so all the items shown are totally budget friendly and affordable. Most of these stores and boutiques have sales going on all the time, so if something I linked isn’t on sale, I would wait and check back every couple days because you will definitely be able to get all of these items at a discount if you’re patient!
With that being said, here are some of the spring clothes I think you will absolutely love!
Dresses
Dresses and rompers are my favorite spring outfit because they’re so simple to throw on and you can totally dress them up or down depending on the jacket, shoes and accessories you pair them with. Throw on a mini dress, with a jean jacket and some white sneakers and you’re set for a casual day out with your gfs. Put on the same dress with a moto jacket, some heels and some dangly earrings, and you’re ready for a night out. I just love the versatility of dresses and rompers because it really opens the door to so many outfit ideas!
Tops/Tanks
I’m really seeing a lot of peach and coral colored tops this year along with baby blue. I love pinks so I’m all for it! I feel like both of these colors pair really well with white jeans. The perfect spring combo.
Another clothing piece I’m seeing a lot of this year is bodysuits. I love a good bodysuit because they go well with every bottom and don’t give you that weird tummy bulge that a regular top would when you try to tuck it in. I just bought this black seamless tank bodysuit and this white long sleeve bodysuit and they fit perfect. The material is so soft and thick. I even tried putting on a black bra with the white bodysuit.. and you could not even see through it.. that’s how good it is.
Shorts & Skirts
Paper bag waist shorts and printed floral mini skirts are everywhere and I can totally see why. Both look so flattering on and I think they make your legs look so good! I’m so happy the days of super tight short shorts are over.
A white tank bodysuit paired with a floral mini skirt and jean jacket would be so cute! Honestly, the options are endless.
Swim
This year I’m really into the one-piece suits. I used to think I was too young to wear one, but the times have definitely changed and one-pieces are so trendy! I love how there are so many different styles and you can really find one that accentuates your body type.
Sandals
The spring shoes this year are probably my favorite! So many cute platform sandals and flats. I have gotten so many new shoes already and it’s only March haha. The good thing though, is that all of the shoes I’ve linked are so affordable. I think all but one pair I linked is over $40, most are $35 and below.
Sunscreen
You can’t forget the sunscreen! It might not be warm where you are yet, it isn’t in Wisconsin, but sunscreen is so important. Here are a few of my favorite safe, non-toxic sunscreens. A lot of these can be found at Target or you can order them off Amazon.
