Kwik Trip Take Home Meals
Listen up local Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa readers! Kwik Trip recently launched their quick, easy and inexpensive Kitchen Cravings Take Home Meals and they are absolutely incredible! My boyfriend and I have tried out five (of the many) take home meals Kwik Trip offers and we are so impressed by the quality and low price point of each meal.
The macaroni and cheese was under $5.00 and the Chicken Alfredo was under $7.50. You get a lot of food in each individually packaged container too. You could’ve fed two adults or three children with the take home macaroni and cheese!
I was curious to see how these meals compared to other frozen dinners boxes you could buy at Target or the grocery store and let me tell you, Kwik Trip’s Take Home Meals are on an entirely different level. You can’t even compare the two.
Kwik Trip’s meals taste homemade and fresh (which they are)! The Director of Commissary Operations, Ray Monroe, states “our team prepares meals every day of the week to ensure the freshness you see is the freshness you will taste.” All the take-home meals are prepared and produced in La Crosse, Wisconsin and delivered to your local Kwik Trip convenience store daily. That explains why they taste so good!
Take-Home Meal Selection!
There’s a variety of meal options to choose from and each one comes with full cooking instructions right on the label! All you need to do is pop them in the microwave for 2-3 minutes and they’re ready to eat!
A few of the meals you can choose from are Spaghetti and Meatballs, Grilled Chicken Breast with Rice Pilaf and Broccoli, Chicken Enchiladas with Spanish Rice and Beans, BBQ Pulled Pork, Mac and Cheese with Chicken and Bacon, Macaroni and Cheese, Grilled Chicken Fettucine Alfredo, Meatloaf Dinner with Mashed Potatoes and more. I’m sure all of you could’ve guessed that the meal I was most excited to try was the Macaroni and Cheese along with the Garlic Breadsticks. Both were delicious and on par with my mom’s cooking! The macaroni was thick and creamy and absolutely perfect!
My boyfriend tried out a few meals as well, and his absolute favorites were the Grilled Chicken Fettucine Alfredo and spaghetti with meatballs. He couldn’t stop talking about them!
