Happy Sunday everyone! I am super excited to share this post with you because it’s all about Hilldale Shopping Center in Madison. For all my local Madison readers, I’m sure you’ve heard of Hilldale before, but if you haven’t, Hilldale is a super cute outdoor mall with tons of restaurants, coffee shops, stores, fitness studios, community events and more.
This is actually where I spend a majority of my Sunday afternoons- shopping, blogging, and sipping on hot chocolate! 🙂 It’s a one stop shop for everything, which I love and it’s located right off of University Avenue on the west side of Madison.
It’s the perfect place to come get your nails done with your girlfriends, grab a cup of coffee or a bite to eat, take a morning workout class, see a movie with your significant other and of course do some shopping!
It’s a very family-friendly shopping destination with a lot of interactive activities for everyone to enjoy. And it’s the perfect place to do your holiday shopping this year! 🙂
I wanted to share with you some of my favorite stores here and give you a sneak peek at a few of Hilldale’s Black Friday deals that will be happening this week!
Shopping
Kendra Scott – Kendra Scott is one of my favorite stores to go into during the holidays! It’s so beautiful inside and their holiday collections are always beyond gorgeous. If you need gift ideas for your mom, sister, grandma, girlfriend, any woman in your life.. you cannot go wrong with jewelry. On Black Friday Kendra Scott is offering 25% off everything and 30% of purchases of $300+. And as they say, Happiness comes in a yellow box 🙂
Anthropologie – Anthro has some of the cutest and most unique gifts! Anything gift I buy from here, I always know the person I’m giving it to won’t own it already. They have so many little trinkets, candles, beauty items, journals, mugs, and stocking stuffers that would make really great Christmas gifts for your loved ones!
Lucky Brand – Lucky is having some AMAZING Black Friday deals! They are offering 60% off select items and then 50% off the rest of the store. They have super great jeans and sweaters here, and if you’re looking for gifts for others, their jewelry selection is soo soo cute too!
Lululemon – Some of the comfiest leggings and active wear on the market! Lulus always has the best quality clothing too. On Black Friday you can shop new markdowns in the store
Macy’s – This is where I shop the most, especially around the holidays because the deals are so good! You can really find anything at Macy’s – gifts for your dad, brother, mom, sister, grandma, co-workers, friends, etc. And the store is decorated so festive for the holidays! It may be just me, but I still love department stores because of the variety of brands and merchandise. If I don’t know what to buy someone for Christmas, Macy’s is usually where I go to look for ideas because the store is huge!

There is so much more to do at Hilldale besides shopping, so I wanted to mention a few of my favorite restaurants, coffee shops, fitness studios and things to do as well!
Restaurants/Coffee Shops
Blended – A locally owned acai, juice and smoothie shop! Stop in here for a healthy pick me-up, while you shop! It’s vegan & vegetarian too!
Crescendo – I love coming here on the weekends to work on my blog! It’s the cutest little coffee shop. While my boyfriend and I shopped this weekend, we stopped in here to warm up and get some warm hot chocolate with whipped cream!
Cafe Hollander– I love Cafe Hollander! If you haven’t been here before, you definitely need to. The food is amazing and it’s such a cute restaurant! Come anytime between 8am-3pm on Black Friday for bottomless mimosas or Bloody Mary’s. This would be a great place to stop after you’ve finished your holiday shopping and need a little break!

Fitness
Cycle bar – Super fun and energizing spin class! Highly recommend, it’s honestly such an amazing work out. First ride is free if you want to give it a try! On Black Friday Cyclebar is also having a 4:30am Doorbuster ride and you can get 10% of 10 packs, 20% off 20 packs, or 30% off all memberships.
Solid Core – A 50 minute class focused on slow and controlled resistance training. If you’re a student, you can get 3 classes for only $45!
Peloton – The Peloton showroom just opened a few days ago and it’s incredible! Stop by to try out the bike or treadmill and even get a personalized tutorial from the staff on how to use them!
Interactive Things to Do
Paddywax Candle Bar – One of my favorite places that just opened up at Hilldale is the Paddywax Candle Bar. And yes, you actually get to make your own candle! It’s so cute and definitely a must-do this holiday season! For Black Friday they are offering 30% off all retail!
Wildewood – A super cute and unique boutique plant shop! If you have an obsession for cute plants, then this is the place for you. Come here. Get 20% off plants when you shop on Black Friday.
Other things to do: AMC Movie Theater, Shine (nail boutique), and more
If you’re in the Madison area, you definitely need to stop by Hilldale! There are always fun events and sales happening and it just has a super cute vibe. Not to mention, all the cute photo opps! I honestly couldn’t think of a better place to do you holiday shopping other than here 🙂
