The Most Perfect Shade of Pink Bridesmaid Dresses for your Big Day
You have been absolutely loving all the bridesmaid dress inspiration I’ve been sharing over the last few months! So, I wanted to write a post on the exact bridesmaids dresses I chose for my bridal party.
If you love the color pink as much as I do, then you’ll love this dreamy bubblegum shade of pink I found from Dessy.
The exact color is called Orchid Pink on their website and it’s absolutely stunning in person! The images online truly do not do it justice. The color you see in all of my wedding photos, photographed by The Paper Elephant, are so much more accurate! It’s a bright, fun, vibrant and girly pink hue.

I chose to have everyone in the same color and brand for a more cohesive bridal party look, but I let the girls choose the style of dress. Most, ended up loving this A-line cowl-neck maxi featuring a high slit. This is the dress both of my sisters are in, who are standing next to me in the photo below.

Finding the Perfect Shade of Pink
There are so many different shades of pink out there. I feel like the very soft blush pink is the most common color that’s chosen for bridesmaids dresses, or the muted dusty pink. Those are very popular, but as someone with very fair skin, I feel like those lighter shades can really wash you out and appear dull in photos.
I tend to gravitate towards more vibrant and bright shades of pink. I feel like they photograph so much better, especially for outdoor photos, and they complement any skin tone.
Obviously, the seasons can play into choosing your bridal party colors as well. Our wedding day was May 25th, so the bright pink worked perfectly with the weather and early Summer aesthetic.
